Zoo Fun

We went to the zoo today with Nate. Yes it was the hottest day of the year but we braved it anyway. Daddy tired out way before Nate did!!







Nate had the best seat in the house!


They had a petting zoo and he liked the cows. He even chased a rooster but we had to catch him because we were not sure how much the rooster liked that game!

He LOVED the polar bears. They would swim by the glass and he would say "Wow".
It was daddy's favorite spot too.
This was in the butterfly house. He would try to catch them but they kept getting away!

Jenna stayed with Nana so I thought I would include a picture of her relaxing in the pool. She has the right idea!

Finally...

Well we are finally back! I have so much to post that I don't know where to start so I will give an overview of the summer. Nate turned 2 in June and had a big party with cousin Halle who turned 4. Jenna is now 8 months old and we are convinced that she will crawl any day now. That should make things very interesting!!

Nate LOVED his birthday cupcakes. I am pretty sure that he ate about 4 that day~ He would even sing happy birthday to them!

Nate thinks that he has to have a constant sucker when he is at my grandparents. They are very happy to keep him supplied.

Nate stayed with my mom while Brian and I went on a trip to the beach. She took him to a farm. I love this picture. It looks like he knows where he is going!

This is at Nana's house. He would run all the way down the hill and thought it was hilarious!

This is his first trip to see Reelfoot Lake. We have been back several time since. He loves the eagle. He tells it to "fly away"! Note the sucker-Granddaddy has no problem keeping him supplied either.
