She's Ready!

I spent the day sewing with Shelly (she is the master teacher!) at Mom's to get Miss Jenna's christmas dress finished. I used pink and green so hopefully we can get a little more wear out of it even after the holidays. The big kiddos went with me and Jon David and Daddy had the house all to their selves. It was a long but very productive day!


Auntie whipped up a shirt to match the minky pants that I made last week. I love it!

Happy 3rd Birthday!

This birthday girl made out like a bandit! Nanny made her a red velvet cake from scratch that was divine!

Nanny and Pa got her a new bicycle and fairy dress along with red slippers. Uncle Hal and Sus gave her a box with 6 pairs of dress up shoes. She has shoes to match everything!

This is what mommy and daddy got her. It comes with a doctor dress up but I am sure you know where this ranks next to the fairy dress!!

This sweet baby went to the doctor this morning with an ear infection. Hopefully he will start resting better soon. I really can't believe that he is 8 months old today!

Promise less, deliver more. I didn't realize that my computer would be in so soon but I am thrilled!! I just uploaded all these pics faster than I ever have so get ready there are plenty!

We went to Paducah this weekend for Thanksgiving and celebrated an early birthday for Jenna




I am not sure if you can read this card but Halle did it all by herself. It says "Princess Jenna, I hope you dance like Cinderella and fly like Tinkerbell" Brian and I think she has a future with Hallmark.

We took the kids out this week to buy toys for the Operation Christmas Child. Jenna was not thrilled about it.

Nate did really well. When I was telling him what we were doing and explaining that some kids do not have toys he said why did their mommy throw them in the trash? Yes I do this!!

Sorry for the delay in posting. Our computer is on its last leg and my sweet hubby found an awesome deal that not only got us a new one but also a laptop for mommy! But until they arrive I am on a blogging hiatus. Hopefully we will be up and running soon:)

A witch, a pirate and cotton candy!

We went to Nashville for Halloween. Brian and I ran in a 5K that morning then we went to Nanny and Pa's church for the Fall Festival. I wish that I had taken my camera when we went out trick or treating that night. It took Nate one house to catch on! Jenna would say "trick or treat, can I come in?" They loved it and we loved getting to have fun with the family!
