Lightbulb moment

I was driving to the gym the other night and heard this song and had tears running down my face by the time I got there so I wanted to share it.
cinderella is the name of the song and it is precious. When you get to the website play the video and he is taking about the night he wrote the song and all the chaos with getting little ones in the bath and bed. The song is about not missing those moments. I am so guilty of that. Just getting things done to get to the next thing. My prayer tonight is that truly realize what a gift this season is.

Slacking...

So I hate it when I check someone's blog and they haven't updated in forever!! Yeah that is so me here lately. My camera batteries have been awol and if you know Brian at all you know that we use a certain kind that can charge and anyway needless to say I misplaced them! But I am ready to go now so here are some cute ones from today. We just hung out at home. They are funny playing together. They will ride the zebra together and today they were riding the cars together-that only lasted long enough for Jenna to realize that he was doing the driving!! I told her to get used to it thats just how guys are but we love them anyway. The funny thing is that in these pictures they look like they are really watching something on tv but it is not even on!

Fear

I hate being scared. Tonight we had tornadoes come through our area. I freely admit to being a little gun shy around these storms. I just feel like I can not control things the way that I want! So as I was in the closet with the mattress over my head in tears Brian was reminding me that we are not the ones in control that the Lord is. I know that in my heart but my head often tries to remind me that I can do a better job. So as the news now reports the horrible damage that has been done tonight and how the next part of the storm will be passing through in a few hours I will go to sleep repeating this "The Lord is near to all who call on him.." and I will be calling:)
