So I haven't taken many pictures lately! If you saw my house you would wonder what do I do all day and yes I am still wearing the same outfit that I put on Sunday afternoon ( I did wash it yesterday then put it back on!) I found this poem and I felt like it pretty much summed up my first month as a mom of three.

Mother, O Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing, make up the bed,
Sew on a button and butter the bread.

Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.

Oh, I've grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue,
Lullabye, rockabye, lullabye loo.
Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo

The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew
And out in the yard there's a hullabaloo
But I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo
Look! Aren't his eyes the most wonderful hue?
Lullabye, rockaby lullabye loo.

The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
But children grow up as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep!
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

We went to the zoo yesterday. It was a beautiful day and the kiddos had a blast. Brian and I were disappointed that the polar bears weren't out!

At first I could not see the resemblance to Nate and Jenna but looking at these pictures I can see that Jon David does have some of their features! Wonder if he will have the blond hair too?!

One Week!

Jon David is one week old! Things have gone pretty smooth, of course I am still getting lots of help, and I am so thankful to super dad, the grandparents, and Auntie!
