So its been awhile...

I have been on the terrible blogger list lately!  I have actually been having too much fun with twitter and playing on instagram that I haven't taken many pics with my camera.  But I decided today I would change that.  We have been laying low over the last few weeks.  The flu found us again but thankfully it was very mild this time.  We have been enjoying the beautiful weather and looking forward to spring.  I have signed up to run a 1/2 marathon with auntie and my girl Cassie so I have been trying to get those long runs in.  Hopefully I will be on here and blog again before spring break!  Now I just have to figure out how to get those pictures off my phone...

Birthday Surprise

 One of the best parts of our trip was surprising this sweet boy for his birthday!

 They were so excited to see each other ( and the momas were too!!)

Christmas part 2

 This was the Lego set that he asked Santa for.  He spent the entire morning working on it.  Hubs helped very little.  My boy loves some Legos.

 We went to our Christmas Eve service at church then we were Tennessee bound.  We drove until just outside Memphis, spent the night then made the rest of the drive to Nashville on Christmas Day.

 After Christmas with Nanny and Pa, we headed to Htown to have Christmas with Auntie, Bubba, Halle and Nana.

 My mom got him a remote control rattlesnake.  He was beyond thrilled! Me not so much!

 Nana made us the most precious quilts for Christmas.  I love it!  It even has that Nana smell:)

We were beyond blessed this Christmas season. It is always so hard to leave but now we are back home, unpacked and trying to find a place for everything!

Christmas Part 1

Christmas almost "flu" by the Buck house! The kiddos and I made a surprise trip to TN to see Nana and we were hit by the flu bug while we were there.  Thankfully we were at Nana's house and what better place is there when you are sick?! After we came home I was came down with it.  But I am so thankful that it was the week before so by the time Christmas came we all felt much better!  These pics are a little out of order.  Since we travel on Christmas Eve, Santa came early to our house:)

This is the second year that while Daddy is reading the Christmas story, we act it out.
