This outfit just screams take me to the zoo! Good thing we are headed there in about a week:)

Daddy has been out of town this week so we hit Taco Bell one night. He gets back today and we are sooo ready to see him!

Man vs Food

I tagged along with Brian on his trip to DC this week. We had a day before his meetings started and Brian had his sights set on this place...


He loves the show "Man vs Food" on the Travel Channel. This was a recent episode and he wanted to see if he was up to the challenge! So off we went to Annapolis, Maryland.


It was a 6lb milkshake and a 1lb burger.

Literally "as big as your head"

My milkshake was the size of the ketchup bottle and I couldn't finish it!

We did have to walk around Annapolis for a little while to make sure that he would make it back to the hotel.

In man vs food, food won:)

Nate and I take the day off from school on Friday. We go to a playgroup with other kiddos that are doing the same curriculum that we are. So when we got home I finished this outfit for Ms. J. I have an outfit that I have monogrammed for JD that I am going to finish tonight then I have to STEP AWAY from the machine and get some house work done!!

I have once again been a terrible blogger but I have a fabulous excuse..the hubs ordered my embroidery machine!!! I am having lots of fun and I love the fact that Auntie is so close to help me learn. I am going to give back the one I borrowed from my friend but not without a "happy" to accompany it! It is for her one year old granddaughter. This was my first attempt at bloomers and I wish the rick rack was farther down but I think it ended up cute, just hope it fits. I might have to slip it on JD to see. I will just make sure that his daddy is out of the room:)
