Nate's science lesson today was about engines and how they work so who better to teach him than his daddy! Being married to an engineer does have its perks.

Most days after the lunch the trio head upstairs to play for a little bit before rest time. Today when I went up there this is what I saw.. sis had little brother all ready for nap:)

Happy 2nd Birthday!!

Jon David is 2!! We had the perfect day celebrating with family and friends. Moma came in yesterday so my house was sparkling clean:) I still can't believe that he is two. I told someone at church that I was not having baby fever just baby withdrawals since no one in my house's age can be told in months!

I LOVE this design. It stitched out lickeity split which gave me more time to work on the pants. Sis was fresh from the bath so her hair is a little wild. We are headed to the jumping place tomorrow. After Sunday JD will no longer be free so I thought we would get in one more time before I have to pay for 3 kiddos!

Has it been a week since I last blogged?! Here's a little look at what we have been up to.

One of Nate's assignments was to narrate a story to me, so we decided to have a little fun with it. We built a city then wrote a story about a little girl who was visiting that city. Her name was Tex Mariposa ( I will let you guess which child came up with which name)

Here is what I have been working on!

This is a Easter dress for my cousin's little girl. All the smocking is done, just need to sew it up.

My baby boy is turning 2 on Sunday. I can't believe it!

We on going on week 2 of no pacifier. This is the earliest I have taken one away. J was 3 1/2!! So far so good just makes me think he is getting so big.

Here is his birthday outfit. I haven't put the buttons on yet, my model is already asleep.

300th Post!!

When I started this post I noticed that this is my 300th post!

You know you have a good man when he doesn't throw away the boxes to your new kitchen table because he knows you can use them for the kiddos!
(also I am saving boxes for VBS this year, never too early to start)

This baby gift is for my sweet friend in MO that just had her second baby. They didn't find out what they were having, which kills me!! Yes I totally ripped the airplane idea off from Shelly but I just love the way it looks:)

This was a great birthday weekend. I had the chance to have a little getaway with the girls to a homeschool conference. Great friends, lots of curriculum, and great coffee made for 2 very fun days. Thanks to Nanny and Pa who had the trio for part of it and my wonderful man who had the kiddos for the rest of my trip.
Speaking of my wonderful man, he had my mother's ring fixed for my birthday. It is gorgeous! I got it when J was born but quit wearing it after JD was born. I am thrilled to wear it again.
Jenna, Nana, and I spent the night at Auntie's Sat after our birthday celebration. We all made it to church the next morning with only one major meltdown!
While I was gone our kitchen table came in. Hubs had it put together when I got home. We can finally all sit at the table together and now we have room for visitors!
