A pool full!

Sunday night we hosted our supper club.  We swam, ate and played hard.  Can't wait till the next one!

J's last game

J's last t-ball game was Friday night.  We had the best time watching this kiddo play ball.  N has one more game tonight.  He gets out of school on Friday then let the summer fun begin!!

Never Before..

 

I can remember my mom picking me up early from kindergarten. My mission was for Nate to have this same memory, so today we went on a little adventure.  When he got in the van his expression was priceless.  He said "you have never done this before".  We went to wildlife museum.  It was really neat and of course my kids loved the snakes so those pics are for you Nana.  It just so happened that a quilt store that I had been wanting to visit was across the street.  Don't you just love it when things like that happen.  After playing we went to eat lunch and shop at a nearby mall.  It was just a fun day to hang with my peeps.   So I would say mission accomplished:)

Mother's Day 2012

A tooth,cherry limeades and a 10K

 Nate lost his second tooth this week.  He even pulled it himself (after a little wiggling from mommy).

 Thanks to Pinterest, I whipped up homemade cherry limeades for our Friday after school treat.

 We also had chocolate chip muffins.  Only one full Friday left! Whoo Hoo!

I ran in a 10K this morning.  Hubs and I were both going to do it but someone has to be with the trio so he let me run it.  He is good like that:) 

Sweet Friends

We have a sweet friend that is turning one on Thursday.  This was my first attempt at making a birthday hat but I loved the way that it turned out! Jenna picked out her cover up and I thought she needed a swimsuit to go with it.  Her moma was the first friend that I made here.  She is actually from Memphis so we instantly hit it off.  We have been having lunch together at least every other week it seems, but yesterday was our last for awhile:(  They are moving to Oklahoma.  But the great thing about being in this season of my life is knowing that the miles don't matter.  Intentionality does.  I know that we will be friends for a long time and I am so blessed that the Lord moved two girls from TN to TX and gave them a forever friendship. 

One fun thing about having a new place is seeing what blooms!  We have a gorgeous hydrangea bush.  It reminds me so much of the one that was in front of my grandmother's house. Miss J just loves to pose in front of it:)
