For Nana ( Nanny you might not want to see this one!)

The kiddos and I found a baby snake today. So I made my moma very proud and caught it for them. My heart is still pounding, the things we do for them:)

If you are like us, we have books coming out our ears. I have been saying forever that I needed a book self in the playroom. Last month at MOPS a friend suggested a website that had the tutorial for these book slings. I loved the idea! I already had enough material thanks to my sweet moma who lets me raid her stash when I am home. The brackets cost about 5 dollars at Lowes. I am tempted to get princess material and put one above J's bed so she has one in her room.

Happy Birthday Brian!!

We went to Nashville this weekend so I could run the Country Music Marathon. Only got to do 20 miles of it due to weather. It was very disappointing but we are looking at another one in May. While we were there we celebrated Daddy's ( and uncle Hal's) birthday with Nanny's fabulous chocolate cake.



This was Aunt Susan's ballet outfit when she was a little girl. Jenna loves it. She says she looks like Hercules:)


Nanny couldn't find the right numbers for Brian's cake so he got to be 29 again!

Now if you are wondering what we got Daddy for his birthday, it was fishing poles. But on the way back from the store this happened....

A car pulled out in front of us. We are all okay but it was a very scary moment for the moma. I am so thankful that my babies were safe. I even had a precious friend stop and then take the kiddos home with her while I dealt with the wreck. Hopefully we will be up and going in no time!

Backyard Fun

Grandaddy and Nana came this week and put in my garden! I am really excited and looking forward to developing my green thumb. I was a little worried about animals getting into it but so far the only thing that I am chasing out of it are the kiddos.

Now it was time to water it.

Daddy came home Friday and decided it was time to camp out. So our back yard became "Camp Buck". He put up the tent and built a fire. I will spare you how many s'mores were eaten!! They lasted out there ALL NIGHT. I spent the night inside, you know, to be near the baby:)

I have no idea why she keeps raising her hands like this!

Isn't she just the picture of spring?! We had to have an egg hunting outfit. I had it hanging on my bedroom door this morning and she came running upstairs and said "look mommy, I am just so excited". We are off to enjoy this glorious weather!
